I love an onion bhaji and whats more I love a Healthy Onion Bhaji! The problem is that most onion bhaji’s are not low fat and are not healthy so eating them on a diet is a big no-no. Lovely onion mixed in a spiced batter and then deep fried until crispy is a perfect accompaniment to any Indian curry so I need to come up with a Healthy Onion Bhaji Low Fat Recipe. I’ve got a cracking and quick deep fried onion bhaji recipe but the problem is that they are just to damn unhealthy when your trying to lose weight so the recipe I’ve got wasn’t appropriate for my needs. Its been a while since I’ve posted a recipe but I have a belter of a Mexican Breakfast Recipe.. its perfect hangover food. That”s not to say I’ve not been cooking because I have… lots… and getting fat in the process. As I sit here typing this post it pains me to say I’m on a diet. I’ve eaten like crap since Christmas and I swore every week I would start to lose weight. So while I can’t eat, I can at least, write about it. (more…)
This recipe is a show stopper! This is the perfect marriage of chicken thighs, spice and a refreshing cucumber salad.This is dead simple and is something you can prepare a little in advance if you’re having a lazy camping day, a BBQ or just want something super tasty yet light. Unfortunately, I can’t take the credit for this as it’s actually a Bill Granger recipe but I love its simplicity so much. It’s perfect for a balmy summer evening and perfect for cooking on a barbecue! This serves 4 people nicely.
